WORD CENTERING

BIBLE QUIZ TEAM @ NATIONALS Youth have been studying and competing nearly a year over Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians & Colossians. They've taken it to a national level this week at Spring Arbor University. Let's pray for Travis Stephens, Michelle Stephens, Grace Fryman, Abby Fryman, Zach Reeser and hosts Candi Morgan and Dottie Morgan. Best wishes for a great week!

THIS SUNDAY Louada Mingous will be leading our exploration of the Word in Morning Worship on Sunday, July 13 at 10:30 am. Lou is a Conference Ministerial Candidate and serves WEMO as Associate Pastor for Special Projects. Make worship your priority - even and especially during the summer. Let us exalt His name together!

SUNDAY SCHOOL Each Sunday morning (9:30 am) explore and apply the Bible -- a key component of a life of discipleship. Start your Lord's Day with Breakfast Fellowship in the Lower Level, 9:00-9:30 am.

SERVICES & SERMONS ONLINE Recent Morning Worship services and sermons are available for online listening. Go to the WEMO website (www.westmorrisfm.org) and click on "Sermons Online." Also online: four years of Word insights and application through "The Compass."

READING THROUGH THE BIBLE Start now…you'll finish before the end of July 2009! Get a guide at our entrances.

FORGIVEN & FORGIVING "Jesus Christ crucified is not merely some heroic example to the church. He is the living power and wisdom of God empowering us to reach out a hand of healing to people who have ripped us off, screwed us up, and turned us down... He slowly turns our hearts of stone into hearts of flesh. At the foot of the Cross we recognize ourselves as forgiven enemies of God and are empowered to extend forgiveness and reconciliation." - Brennan Manning in The Signature of Jesus
