MISSIONS

invest in mission across the globe...and around
our city

WEMO participants engage in sharing God's redeeming
love in our world.
Approximately 10% of all contributions
at WEMO are invested in support of a limited
number of Free Methodist missionaries and their
outreach projects. We also support special projects.
In addition, WEMO participants travel to different
world areas for short-term mission experiences
thru VISA (Volunteers In Service Abroad).
Some VISA teams will serve for a week or two;
others, like the Fryman family, are spending
a year in medical service in Rwanda.
WEMO is also focused on our
home mission, what we call Mission Indy.
We join with other metropolitan area Free Methodist
congregations to support urban ministries and
urban church planting. Mission Indy expresses
our desire to be responsible and redemptive
in our own neighborhoods and communities.
Some WEMO individuals and
families support children in developing world
areas through International Child Care Ministries,
a service of Free Methodist World Missions.
$27 per month (about the cost of 4 fast food
meals) sponsors a child's living expenses and
education in a Free Methodist youth hostel,
offering a great opportunity for successful
living in their respective nation.
