Service Details

On Sunday, November 1 you're invited to join us as we gather together live & in-person at West Morris Church to worship together! We can't wait for this special gathering and look forward to seeing everyone. However, we encourage you to make the best decision for you and your loved ones as you consider whether to attend online or in-person.

 

We will ALSO be broadcasting the service on 88.5 FM so you can tune in from the church parking lot and on Facebook Live in the West Morris FMC group, just as we have been since March. In addition, the video will also posted to our toll-free call-in number, YouTube and our website Sunday afternoon. 

As you prepare for Sunday, please read through these important details.

Self-Screening
Please stay home unless you can answer NO to all of the following questions:

1. Have you had any of these symptoms in the last 14 days?

• Cough

• Shortness of breath

2. Have you had at least two of these in the last 14 days?

• Fever

• Chills

• Repeated shaking with chills

• Muscle pain

• Headache

• Sore throat

• Loss of taste or smell

3. Have you been in contact with anyone in the last 14 days who has tested positive for or has symptoms of COVID 19?
4. Have you traveled outside the US in the last 14 days?

5. Do you fall into one or more of the high-risk categories?

6. Are you uncomfortable gathering with groups of people indoors at this time?

Personal & Public Safety

• Masks will be required at all times to be worn by all people 3+ years of age. Thank you for properly wearing your mask over your nose and mouth.

• Besides the worship space, foyer and bathrooms, the church building will be closed. There will be NO Sunday School, Children's Church, or nursery services.

• Waves, fist and elbow bumps are great ways to greet one another. Please refrain from hugging, shaking hands, and any other physical contact. 

• Please maintain at least 6' of distance between yourself and every other person.

• The bathrooms by the sanctuary will be open for use. Please limit the bathrooms to one person at a time. After using the bathroom, please wipe down all surfaces with the provided disinfecting wipes.
   

Arrival Details

• Only the main entrance and canopy doors will be open on Sunday. They will be opened 15 minutes prior to the service. At the close of the service, you will be escorted outside by our ushers. Please enjoy your conversations and socializing outside before and after the service.

• When you come into the sanctuary, you will be asked to sign-in and then will be invited to collect your communion elements for the service.

• Ushers will show you to your seat. Please follow signs and directions for entering and exiting the building and worship space.

Worship Service

• Please sit together with your family group only. Thank you for maintaining the chair-spacing in the worship space.

• The worship service can also be heard on your FM car radio at 88.5 and on Facebook Live. (Note: you will only pick up the signal in the immediate vicinity of the church. You cannot tune into 88.5 FM from your home, unless you live right next to the church!)

Departure Details

• At the close of the service, ushers will be collecting your tithes and offering at the exit doors. In addition, ushers will excuse you and escort you outside.

• If you'd like to converse with others, please do so outside in the parking lot after the service. Please do not congregate in the building.

• We would encourage you to spending 10 minutes completing a "prayer drive" along the many side streets of West Indy. Alternatively, park in one place in our neighborhood and spend 10 minutes there, asking God to give you "soft eyes" to see what He sees.

Post-Service

• Thank you for worshiping with us! We pray you were blessed. If you test positive for COVID after attending our service in person, please IMMEDIATELY contact Pastor Kristen so that we can communicate clearly with everyone who was in attendance.

• Thank you for your grace in following the guidelines! We look forward to gathering in a clean, safe environment for worship and appreciate your cooperation.
