Rev. Kristen B. Marble - Senior Pastor
Kristen Bennett Marble was born in Gallopolis OH and lived in Point Pleasant WV and Blacksburg VA as a young toddler. Her family moved to Moscow, Idaho at the age of 3 where she spent the remainder of her growing-up years. As a young child, Kristen was passionate about justice, kindness and making a difference. Kristen came to love Jesus at a United Methodist summer camp in Junior High, and then rededicated her life to Christ in college. Kristen completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Idaho in 1994, majoring in Chemistry and German. After working in college student affairs and teaching grades K-12 at private, charter and public schools, Kristen and her husband John began their family. Kristen stayed at home with her growing family, eventually homeschooling her children for over ten years.
Kristen served in various church ministries, began a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group, and eventually started a House Church in Glendive, Montana. She attended George Fox Seminary (now Portland Seminary), earning her MDiv in 2014. In 2013, Kristen and her family moved to Kansas for John's job, and Kristen connected with the Free Methodist denomination. She was ordained as an elder in the Free Methodist Church in June 2014. While In Kansas, Kristen served as an Associate Pastor at Northwest Free Methodist in Wichita, and co-started and co-led Refuge Ministries in downtown Wichita. In Summer 2016, Kristen and her family moved to Indianapolis, to pastor the Mars Hill Free Methodist Church. In Summer 2017, Kristen accepted an appointment to serve as Senior Pastor at West Morris Church, and looks forward to many years of ministry.
