NEW TO WEST MORRIS CHURCH?

CONSIDERING A VISIT?

West Morris Church is a diverse and vibrant congregation. Our facilities are located near downtown Indianapolis, along Morris Street on the near Westside of the city.

Our church family is comprised of people from all over the metropolitan area, sharing a commitment to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ in our city.

We would love to have you join us for worship this Sunday at 10:30 am. It is our desire that you have a wonderful worship experience with us, and you leave feeling God's love and peace.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Should I Wear?

Some people dress casually and others more formally. God meets people where they are. As a church, we want to be as Christ-like as possible. In other words, come in a suit-and-tie if that’s your preference, dressed up, or dressed down in jeans. Just come!

Where Should I Park?

We know parking can be stressful, but we try to make it as easy as possible. Just come off of Morris Street and either park in the lot behind the church, or across the street (west side) at our West Park. You can enter the building at any door. If you need to drop off during poor weather, there is a car port entrance on the west side of the building (across from the park).

Is there a place for everyone in my family at West Morris?

Part of being a church is to understand and minister to families. It is for that reason that we have special places for the youngest child and the oldest grandparent among us. We welcome your family into our family here. Please visit our MINISTRIES page to find out more about these ministries and let us know if you have any questions.

What about my kids?

We have a place for kids of all ages. Our well-staffed nursery is available for children from birth to kindergarten during our Sunday morning meeting time. The nursery is a clean, safe, secure, and fun atmosphere for your little ones. During the morning Worship Service, children grades 1st - 4th can attend Children's Church (they will be dismissed during the service and will be escorted by a ministry leader downstairs to Ellis Hall).  Please see one of our greeters or the main Welcome Center. Our team would love to help you out when your family arrives.

What do I do when I get there?

Once inside someone from our Greeter team will greet you with a smile and answer any questions you have. If you have children, they can escort you to the children's or nursery areas. There is also a Welcome Center in the foyer if you would like additional information. After these preliminaries, you are free to join us as we worship the Lord together.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Only if you want to. We do teach from the Bible, so if you have one, we encourage you to bring it! If you forget it or don't have one, we have Bibles available in our pews and we'd even love for you to take a Bible home with you!

What does a Sunday morning service look like?

Our goal is to glorify God. Each week we feature live dynamic music and life changing Bible teaching. We would love for you to join us at 10:30 AM!

Are you going to ask for my money?

Money is a sensitive issue and we do not expect our guests to give. We believe in giving as a spiritual opportunity of worship, not as a requirement to belong here.

Is it easy to get Connected'?

We try to make it easy.  There are Connection Cards in the bulletins you can fill out when you are ready and they can be placed in the offering plate as it passes by. We want everyone to feel welcomed and encourage you to get plugged in right away. Whether you attend one of our "Discipleship Classes", join us for a Second Sunday Supper, come to a Bible Study or volunteer to serve, your involvement is a great way to connect with others!
